Meet Alfonso Morales, a Cloud Native Engineer at QuadSci. Three months in, he's already working on the data automation and secure infrastructure that helps our customer intelligence AI scale. Here's what brought him to QuadSci and what he's building now.

## Why QuadSci?

Looking back, choosing QuadSci came down to the people. During my HR and technical interviews, everyone I spoke with carried a mix of confidence and professionalism that told me a lot about the culture before I'd even signed anything. What they shared about the company made it clear this was a place where I could keep growing as a cloud engineer, not just clock in and out. I remember thinking this might be one of the best decisions of my life — and three months in, I can say I wasn't wrong. The people here are genuinely kind, and I've felt welcome and supported from day one.

## What's your background?

My path here comes from a Cloud/DevOps background — building Infrastructure as Code modules to streamline resource deployment across AWS and GCP, and automating operational tasks through CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and serverless functions (AWS Lambda). If you mapped out my technical fingerprint, it'd probably look like a Terraform file that refuses to have manual drift, a pipeline that never sleeps, and a healthy obsession with "if I have to do this twice, I'm automating it."

## What are you building right now?

Right now, I'm deep in a data automation pipeline designed to cut down manual work for our Data/ML engineering team. Alongside that, I'm building Docker images for those apps that meet our security standards from the ground up.

## One thing people should know about me

On a more personal note: I have four cats 🐾, and if I ever get a mansion, it's becoming a cat sanctuary. That's non-negotiable. They're my favorite kind of chaos.
